  • Do you blink alot when bagging?

My dad had me in martial arts at a very young age and one of my sensei's was fanatical about students not blinking while he punched FSP's at our little faces at a rapid speed just stopping short of hitting us. Finally! This ridiculous scary thing I had to live through has paid off as I don't seem to blink when hitting the speed bag any more than I normally would when doing normal things.

However, if I start thinking about blinking while the bag is rapidly flying back at my face I will without a doubt start to blink a little more..

Note: This could be the stupidest thread ever. Apologies

Agreed! I don't even look at the bag when I hit, I focus on the swivel.
Never had a blinking problem....damn, Speedy Tommy T wears a blindfold when he hits!

I focus on the swivel too. Hell, with my Arc swivels, its difficult NOT to stare at the swivel.

I'm hearing nothing but great things about your swivels...as soon as you can make me a "Plum Crazy Purple" (like a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner) one, you can count on my order!

I would do it if I could source the plastic.

If you think about blinking even when you are not bagging you start blinking more than you normally do.
