And it’s still an honor to have this swivel given to me by a Master of the Bag and Master of a Man, thank you AK! This swivel I cherish, here it shown with my rebound ring wooden frame.

That bag is from the 1940's, early 1950's, prior to when they changed the catalog nomenclature to strictly numerical (speed bags were in the 4200 series)

You may have seen my retro designs if you attended a gathering or two. I am a collector of vintage and do not replace the old with new unless its purely functionally necessary. I have a Nichols, NOS with box, I collect boxes and packaging also, with a mint condition. I wont mount that except for display. I do however have a retro fit Nichols that G-Town and his boys are testing and I have worked on swiv for Zaza. The plastic ball Nichols conversion is the most revolutting swivels I have ever designed!!! if that's even a word??!! Something like thirty revolutions per spin. Zero friction there, but the plastic ball I experiemented with was of cheap plastic so wearing is inevitable do to the Nichols design, which is great, that is why I preserve mine.
Im currently hitting on a classic Speed Bag Ring from Hutchinson Bros. It may be worth a video or two but I have my beaters and my treasures.
I have so many videos I need to share or get a publicist videographer.
The speed bag gatherings are like show and tell and a present exchange with a Chinese auction Silent auction and everybody gives something to the New!!

    OK, OK. you win.

I'll move it to the other side of the shelf. Maybe I'll bring it to the New Jersey gathering and let "the gang" give their opinions.
