Nice, leather looks very good. Inflation tube under the laces, and it appears not to be a pear shaped bag as well. Not too many of these floating around. Round single end striking bags were pretty much out of production by the 1920's, replaced by the pear shaped ones.
This bag was made for Alex Taylor & Company, which was at one time one of the the major sporting goods stores in New York City. It like most of the independent outlets succumbed to the onset of the large chains.
