Unfortunately there is a Rip in that right hand corner of the Card that goes through the date but it does appear to read "Jan or Feb 22, 1914"

I've been having this strong feeling, almost a urgent calling.... those bags!!...they're still here. I see them. They are in a crawlspace or its a coffin?...no, under a stage!! Everything still looks great and is usable. The equipment begs to be pommled again. It lies there in wait, knowing its day will be here again, wanting to bring smiles and amazement to a whole new world. Yes they are still with us.. is this a dre...am I... BECK!!! We're leaving!! Grab only what you can carry, I just had a dream and we are leaving NOW!

Actually, I bought the original post card, signed by the Vagges, from a antique Sports Memorabilia website a few years ago. I thought it should rest with someone who would appreciate the addiction. Imagine - touring the country doing speed bag demonstrations. I had the same dream once. I only wish there was footage of what had to be an amazing demonstration.

Since I own the card, I could scan it for my website. It could certainly be posted here, where it would lie among friends.

Well then, thanks to Alan for originally uncovering it and thanks to you for bringing it to my attention!

I printed out a copy and hung it near my bagging station.

What a beautiful sight -- all of those bags! Bagoholism is very much old school too!

    Vertical Bagging Old School

With the interest in the concept of vertical bagging , it's perhaps interesting to note that it's not a new idea (sorry guys). As shown in the post card on Speed Bag Central of the Vagges and their vaudeville set up

Note the two vertical platforms, one on each side of the stage.
