Like I said, I'll try and do better in the future.

BTW: This is a forum the discusses hitting a leather bag filled with air, correct?

    Just saying.

Hopefully our speed bag historian will chime in with his knowledge.
Jaja, do you think it might be one of these?

I sold this one because it was dead. How does yours hit?

That bag appears to be from the first generation of the pro line, which seems to have been introduced in the early to mid 1950's. Prior to this Everlast pretty much sold to the gyms and trainers. They weren't trying to compete with the likes of Spalding, Rawlings , Hutchison, et all for the home fitness market.

As much as I'd love to have it, this one is getting out of hand. Wait until the final 10 minutes. Could we see a $300 price? In all of my browsing the internet the only bag that tops $400 is a Kill Spencer black leather speed bag.

The description says "Still in original box." Clearly, they have removed it from the box and the value dropped immediately and significantly!

Anyone here the proud new owner? Now imagine if this was a 4200 Kangaroo NOS.

While everyone was busy bidding on the 4200 I was able to snag a 4200 Kangaroo. The bag was filthy but some cleaner, conditioner, new laces and bladder made this bag restore nicely. Extremely nice leather.

Wow, where did you find that one? And I might as well ask what kind of leather cleaner/conditioner you use? My first bag although only six months old could use a little love.

It was on eBay. Either everyone was distracted by the once in a lifetime 4200 never been used, or people don't like the big 4200 bags. I just need a 4200 and 4201 in Kangaroo leather to have every Everlast Professional bag. The search is part of the fun.

I got my 'never been used' 4200 for half that price.
