I think the forum software assigns that title until the member has a certain amount of posts. At 50, the member moves to "Member", then "Senior Member", then "SB Guru."

But I'm sure someone can alter the titles of members.

Biff is correct, it's a simple system based on number of posts.

But I'm sure someone can alter the titles of members.
Yes, that someone just needs to think of something creative !!! I'm sure whoever that mystery person is would take suggestions

Helicopter pilots? I'm in the dark. Well, call me whatever, just as long as Jim gets his proper due.

More of the same. Just playing with my camera and YouTube. Seems like I need to place the camera back farther, but my space is limited. Also the quality seems a little better if I just upload the *.mov file without trying to convert it to WMV.

Must confess to some weird narcissistic pleasure to watching myself.

My hitting should be a lot sharper in a few weeks, and hopefully the quality of the vids improved.

Back in the day, I just hit with bare hands unless the skin got broken, then I'd wear a sock on my hand until it healed. With my return, my hands got pretty sore even from the little bag. The Everlast gel gloves work pretty well but they are falling about after only a couple weeks of use. But I'd like to return to bare hands eventually.

Looking good Jim, I've always been my worst critic. Like watching game films. No better way to see "exactly" what your doing or not doing right. Keep up the good work!

Jim, you're looking sharper with each vid. It won't be too much longer until all the rust is gone.

If that's the 6X4 Everlast you're using, that bag is pretty "hard" and the seams stick out quite a bit (at least on mine). Those two factors may be the cause of your sore hands.

But then converting to *wmv allows a much faster upload to YouTube and I think that the quality is almost as good. I purchased the AVS converter and it seems to work just fine.

Here's one I converted prior to uploading

Dinking around with YouTube, I accidentlly deleted all my uploaded vids.
I've put some of them back up on my jimcaher YouTube page if anyone is just dying to see them. Hopefully, within a few weeks I'll be posting some more entertaining vids.

                            fixed the links

I've imbedded new links to videos in my earlier posts. They probably aren't the same vids, but similar, and at least the links work.

                            I'm learning.

You're looking good, JIM! You still have those some massive rear delts and shoulder muscle separation. The punching looks great. Looks like it's all coming back.

Personally I don't like those gel gloves because the gel jiggles all over the top of my hand and the weights felt funny.

I remember you barehanding, so you will probably get back to it pretty quick.
