    Lonsdale Test Drive

Got my Lonsdale Peanut from Sugar Rays. Very bouncy, fast for its size. Put up a good fight before he ultimately fell victim to my elbows. A big right put him down at 1:04 in the very first round.

Nice hitting. That bag looks and sounds pretty solid. Nice Balasz setup.

If you have a tape measure handy, what's the actual size? Where's it made?

The same company owns Everlast and Lonsdale so that explains why their equipment is so similar to each other. Maybe that's the equivalent to the Everlast 6x4?

I'm not sure why they call that one a Peanut, it is much bigger than the Everlast 6x4. I think there is a smaller Peanut though, the orangeish colored Lonsdale. The one in the video is probably about 8x5.

Great video there aad, nice skills and nice demo of the Lonsdale bag. That is a brand with quite a range of different bags that we CAN get in the UK. After seing your vid, I ordered a small and medium Lonsdale in a store sale but they were out of stock so I was disappointed. So, instead got the Lonsdale Authentic Peanut which cost a bit more... but I have to say it is FANTASTIC!

Will try and post a vid before too long. Fast and bouncy and very nicely made.

Mrs M., the Lonsdale authentic looks very nice, I wish I could find it somewhere here in Texas.

                      Hi!
Still satisfied with the authentic peanut from Lonsdale? I'm thinking of buying it.

                          Hej!
And thanks! I was introduced to speedbagging by my son who bought one, and I really enjoy it. We have an Everlast 4201 and would like to try a smaller one. It´s hard to get the Everlast 4X6 in Europe but I'm considering the smallest Cleto Reyes.

Hello swede and welcome to the forum!

I bought the authentic Lonsdale peanut recently and I'm really happy with it. It's fast and bouncy and well made, I love it!

I also got the extra small Cleto Reyes - another well and fast made bag but it's the slightly bigger Lonsdale that seems to be my favourite at the moment. I also think the slightly bigger size also makes it easier to learn new moves.

Let us know what you decide and how you get on with it.
