Ha! Wish you could have recorded that 25 pounds ago..

that may be a chin violation so I'm starting my ten bite diet!

      tomorrow.

Speed Bag T.V. Pretty cool. Great job.

(ps: the guy in the first part is Eddie Pond, holding the first Book ever sold. Taken Aug 1995 in Las Vegas, Nev.)

            thought that was yesterday

"I'm working on a new diet craze, just about to hit the market,

I call it "The 10 Bite Diet". Simple to understand. Every meal, no matter what, you get 10 bites and your done.

I've counted the bites on many "american size" meals over the past few months. Oftentimes it takes 30 or 40 bites to finish a normal plate of food. Cut it down to 10 bites, your choice of what - but just 10 bites. You won't starve and you'll leave a ton of food that isn't needed.

Makes about as much sense as any other diet I've seen, and I'm gonna start.

Tomorrow."--was gonna ask how this worked out but will wait another week--dd

                  I like the Seefood Diet.

                  I eat whenever I see food…
                  …drum roll.

But, seriously… speaking of SEAFOOD… a restaurateur friend of ours invited us to his bistro recently for his first big Seafood Event. He treated us to the $35 per person Bucket-o-Seafood. There wasn't any lobster, but no matter – boy, was it ever DEE-licious! And I'm not even a fan of seafood (except for lobster and crab.)

The bucket was full of steaming, tastefully seasoned King crab legs, big, tender shrimp, snow crab, and mussels! There was also big sausage links and corn on the cob. It was my first experience with mussels. WOW! They're like Buttah. Raul reminded me that they don't have sand and grit in them because they attach themselves to pilings. Way better than other clams. Okay. Enough about food…

Back to the interview with Joe at SB III. I think you had just left zaza's room, Alan, when I met up with Joe around 11 a.m. at the Best Western hotel in Keyport, NJ last summer. Hmmm, 11 am eastern time – 8 am Pacific time. I was suffering from Jet Lag, and I was looking pretty tired (and chubby, too) in the video Joe shot of me.

Frankly, zaza, I was a bit disappointed that you didn't have your makeup artist with you. I was really in need of some assistance that morning!

I WAS NOT ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMille…

The last few minutes of Sunset BLVD (1950). Gloria Swanson plays a crazed attention-driven actress named "Norma Desmond".

I know how you feel. I told him I looked tired, eyes (left worse) dropping and the camera adds weight also.

He told me he would fix it all in "post" and I'd be svelte, cut and dashingly handsome. Obviously he is not using that approach to these teaser clips, but I'm holding out for the final cut. I know he won't disappoint us...

                    will you, Za....

Oh stop... you looked fine! That seafood sounds great.

Now... about that 10 bite diet.... why not just use a small plate & fill it with mostly veggies? Just a thought.

So... I guess we're all going to get in shape by the next gathering in July?

You won't believe this, but in Texas most of the vegetables come rain wrapped inside BlueBell Ice cream.

                            really.
