    Can anyone identify this speedbag platform?

    It's mounted in my local gym and has a very nostalgic flare:

    Looks like an Everlast built from the old Narangansett patterns. Dates from the 1940's on up to the 1970's

      With the center worn out from swivel screws stripping out the wood. ergo the plywood swivel base.

        It looks nasty with that chunk of plywood screwed in the center. I would have drilled out the screw holes just big enough to glue some wooden dowels into the holes, then drill into the dowels to reattach the swivel.
