    Skunk Comes Unglued

Zach Ruffo, Speed Bag Skunk, Comes Unglued at the St. Louis Convention. Don't Blink. The eye hook is slowly coming unscrewed from the ball, so Skunk has to stop and retighten at 1:15. The hook is almost out again around 2:45, but rather than stop, Zach gives it a spin, and the eyehook screwed itself back into the ball. At the end, the hook is once again coming unscrewed, so Skunk gives it a spin the other way to finish it off.

You know how all the other players spill onto the court when someone has an awesome dunk in the Slam Dunk Contest??? That was us.

What swivel was that? The Jumpcannon, or Speedy Tommy T, or other ballhook?

It's a plastic Everlast base, with a metal ball.

Great Video!!! The swivel is one a guy here is working on. It's a bearing that is excact size as the plastic ball, drilled and tapped. Skunk super glued the threads the next day. Works great very smooth! We are also working on metal housings as well. Jumpcannon is going to be a hard act to follow though!

yes, but I knew it was not an everlast ball because the shank doesn't screw inside the ball, but has a lock pin that screws in from the side. The plastic ball is the first I ever saw that "screws into the ball" and superglue will help hold them for a while, although you can override it over time with full blast punching.
